Your first 3d pic is fantastic!

I think, with a little practice you could be just as good, or even better at making 3d pics than at 2d pics. Though I'd wait, and stick with 2d at the moment, but keep experimenting with 3d.

That's nice, Lizard.

But you didn't do the shoes until the end. I mean, they could be much better.

Well I don't know how newbie I count. I've got some programing/3d experience... I pretty much understood the concepts of GE right away. (Prooves the great job of Makslane). I like your pics, though let me give you a hint, when making these models: These modeling functions always make perfectly smooth forms. Smooth tubes (like what you make the hands and fingers with) But, of course nothing is that pur-fect in reality. Now I don't know the function in anim8or, but in Blender, which I use, a function called fractal, which adds a little randomness to the location of the vertices. Though as I said, I don't know about anything in anim8or.
But don't get discuraged at the beginning, my father always tells me: Practice makes perfect. You have practiced 2d drawing, so you make awsome pictures. Practive 3d modeling, and you'll get good at that. If you get tired of it, then take a little brake, to clear your mind, maybe take a nap(sleep). Then continue with a fresh, creative mind, and you'll make cool stuff! Good Luck with 3d!
