No it's not. Definitely not.
The one in GE is done just by Key Down events and has moonwalking bugs.
The one TeraPoison made is written in code, and has no moonwalking. I see you didn't watch more than the beginning of the video. :P

I'm not quit sure tho. Is it tutorial for "how to make actor controls move left, right" (indeed it is that) then the target is ..? ..making actor to move left, right.
Then yes, the target is same as the game-editor's one.

About the WAY to do that, it is different, so here is the difference. The one making in without key script and the another one with script. Its not sure that the user who learn the tutorial will prefer scripting then using ge's functions, but i think both are usefull. So @sonicforvergame should be right, if he talk about the result from the video - with is a little bit more important.

I have to disagree with you. The result of these two tutorials is not even close to being the same. :D
The non-script way ends up to a solution with bad moonwalking bugs. TeraPoison's tutorial gives a solution with no moonwalking.
It is easy to see the difference between the two, since the other one offers a bugless way of implementing character movement.

Anyway, I don't claim that TeraPoison's way is the only good way of making the movement.
There is always other, just as good ways, and better, and worse ways to doing things.
In this case, it is possible to combine the two, non-script and script ways of doing this, and still
end up with a perfect movement with no moonwalking. :)

As a matter of facts TeraPoison's way is better obviously :p

Yes it is, in this case. :)

But for users that don't like coding that much, there really is ways to not use so much code,
and yet still achieve the same bugless movement. Things can be done in so many ways! :D

People need to start off learning coding. There are less bugs in the long run. Thanks for the support everyone!

I agree, but that sounds like we occupy the game editor's own functions :(
We must not forget the ge's functions too, what they are made for? They have to be learned too :| My game 200 MB with bla-bla things that should be the largest from all i checked ..is made 40% GE Functions and 60% coding and it is not a shame to not hide it .

I know i am not that good at codding.. Im collecting knowledge and making a whole book in Ms World, that will contain all operators, functions, includes with the game editor's colorizing and that will be handy right? "handbook Of Scripting In Game-Editor"

I believe they have one already in your game eitor folder. Also if you can't find it I could send it to you. I also use GE functions in the tutorial later on and it is about 35% to 40% functions as well.

I've watched, thanks. I'm just think people prefer scripting as a general rule.
