Hello people! :D

I thought to give you some update info again.

I have continued working with the sprite drawing and I've managed to
knock out two of the main problems with it. First one being the drawing order, which
was bugging and causing sprites to be drawn on top of each other even when not suppposed to.
Second one was a peculiar little bug causing sprites sometimes be partly visible through the walls.

Well, these two bugs are now history, and they both appeared to be just silly mistakes and things
I had forgotten about. :D

Here's a screenshot of the sprites now being drawn in the correct order: Image

I've also been working with the mouse look even more, and I'll be able to show you a new cool feature of
it the next time I make a video about Sabre. :D

Also, I have to thank you all for showing such amounts of interest towards Sabre, the amount of views on this topic is
amazing, 13077!! Thank you! Image
And with all these views, Sabre has also made it to the Most Popular -section of Game Editor's Demos -page.

You have alnost 20000v now. Congrats. :) It's about time one of the newer demos got to the popular demos list (It's been the same for a long time until now) xD

Thanks. :) Now it's already over 20000, and that's just incredible, considering how little people seem to be using this forum anymore.
And yeah, that's true x)

Some updates!

I haven't had all that much time for the development of Sabre, but I've still made some progress
which I'm now going to share with you. :)

I've started building a webpage for Sabre. When finished, it will contain all the basic info about Sabre and
a thorough guide on using it. The page isn't online yet, but will be when I've finished Sabre.

I've also been building a menu engine which will be integrated to Sabre when I publish it.
The idea of the engine is to make it easy to create automatically scaling menus, thus making it easy to export games
in multiple different resolutions. The engine supports both, mouse and keyboard usage and will of course be
customizable, so that everyone can make the menu fit in their game graphically.

Here's some screenshots of the menu engine as it is.

I haven't had time to work on the webpage nor on the actual Sabre 2.0.
I'm currently very busy with other things. I haven't given up on the project, Sabre development is just kind of sleeping right now.
But I'll get back to work when I can. :)

I was reading through this topic (because I'm an idiot who is only interested in himself   ) and noticed that my last real update on this is from October, last year o.o
That's not good. I have to get back to work with this. It's just kinda complicated because the .ged is so messy.

Well, I'll probably end up copying the codes to a new .ged to make it less-messy :P

Thank you! Also, welcome to GE forum! :)

And what comes to your question, I have to say I'd love to be able to give everyone the possibility to play with the engine in its
current state, but I just can't do that right now. The reason for that is that the code is currently very messy and all the different features are as
separate ged files and, well, pretty much anything isn't ready. Everything is half-way done, and anyone won't probably understand anything about it now, nor be able to use it at all.
