another thing:
what is some cool country name that does not exist?
I am trying calling it Settlers of Asgalihad but that does not really sound good. :(

I will make another game pictures topic next week since this one is filling up. :D

I IMed you about the terragen link but if somebody else is interested, get it here:

You can modify some small town names in your country and make them sound like country names. For example Brixham could be turned to Bihmaxr if you like fantasy kind of names. Or Brixland/Brixonia to get modern worldish names. :)

Hmmm. Have you ever played "Walker" for the Amiga?
With that beautifull monster you'll be able to make an exquisite version of it.
Anyway, can't wait to see the first playable demo. :D

Hey metal_pt, just seen your soldiers screeny, and noticed the Cannon Fodder reference; my vision has suddenly gone all sepia :) I loved that game. Have you seen the theme tune played live by "Press Play On Tape" using game controllers? Hilarious.

Anyway, all these game screenies have got me wanting to polish some of my gfx so I'm off to play with Photoshop!

Ok so I've blown the dust off my projects AGAIN and am determined to get something released soon.

Crania is very, very close to being finished. Although to those with (very) long memories who can remember my lost posting it might not look much different to 12 months ago (wow didn't realise it was that long!) it is very different under the hood.

Crania has 51 levels of shipping crate shifting fun :)
Initial release will be for QVGA PPC shortly followed by QVGA Smartphone but I'll also be making a VGA PPC version which will then also be exported for PC. I'll possibly also be making a QVGA PPC version in a different colour pallette to match the "Black" ROMs we host on 4WinMobile.

Also in work is VSTOL. Based around the old Harrier Attack game but I have loads of ideas for updated gameplay. Admittedly the gfx look pretty ropey compared to d-soldiers (even given that it is for PPC) but they will hopefully get better once I get back to working on this properly.

Currently just a rudimentary 1 level playable demo for QVGA PPC. Due to the number of gfx that will be in the final version I probably won't be making a VGA PPC version but will export the QVGA one for PC

Image

And not forgetting the 4WinMobile team project, FormFighter. As this is a team effort (GFX are all done by others from the forum) we were all getting a bit frustrated that making a game takes so long so we've decided to make smaller "episodes" of approx 5 levels.

Original development was for VGA PPC but we've taken the decision to move to QVGA as there are by far and away more devices out there, however all gfx from now on will be created in both resolutions so that we can make both versions ultimately.

I have never heard of them until today... boy... those guys are nuts... that is one great performance.

Here goes the link for those nostalgic guys.

Screenies from INCURSION. I've been toying around with it for a week or so now, but recently developed some actions that have gotten me excited about it again. Should have it done within a month!
