aside from that, half of this shit is probably already indexed on waybackmachine or something of the other.

From the WHOIS page on game-editor.com:
Registration Expiration Date: 2016-04-02

you've got six months. start counting. of course, that's assuming that somebody doesn't take down the site long before then.

ge isn't a game developer community anymore, it's a shitshow.

I'd agree that this place is a shitshow but there were better times otherwise you wouldn't be here right? Imagine saving the memories of those times...

Memories are the downfall of our society. You choose to give a shit about memory, try remembering all the "good times" you used to have, and you never have them again. Spend all your time mourning over something and you'll lose it forever. Either do something about the problem or remove the problem, don't reflect on what the problem used to be.

Why are you here then? Are you some kind of "doomsday prophet" trying to get everyone with you to reach the new life?

Also I'm no crybaby I am just the type that values the recording of history because to know the future is to know the past.

GE may be dead, but we can always reflect on the good times, eh?

It's not just about reflecting on "good times" its about recording history and learning from it.
like why Sega failed with the Sonic Xtreme...

PS I think most people (myself included) are tired about discussing gE's death, it may be dead it may not be or maybe it is we'll have to wait and see...
