Then i would totally buy this tool it's ingenious :)

thought i would share with everyone else!

it can take 3D animated characters and make animated 2D spritesheets out of them, you can even specify camera angles so you get just the right view!

Very interesting. It would definitely speed up my 2D to 3D workflow. The normal map feature would come in handy too I think.
$50 seems a bit much though, (for me anyways). Usually, I just render out the frames and then used a variety of gimp plugins to automatically crop them, and get them all into a sheet.

Alot of programs are going the open source route now. Everything i make is with the intention to be open source(unless i was to sell it) only cause i don't see a point in hiding anything from anyone here never know when you'll learn something new browsing through someone's code :)

I guess the change must've been pretty recent. I remember seeing have a $130 license a long while ago.

And yes I agree, It's nice seeing a lot of programs and projects going open source. Neat to learn stuff from. :)
