You got the mail? What was the link in it? Maybe I did something wrong with the link in the mail.
I have taken a look into the database, and there is no new account... please try to register again and tell me if it works. If there are any error messages somewhere on the page after register please tell me.

there is no activation code coming with it http://ge-games.comule.com/activate.php?id=0&code=
but the link still works
Also when I try to download demos, I get this error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '{' in /home/a2737869/public_html/game.php on line 9

Okay, I will try to fix it. Did you try to register again? Is there any parse error or something else after registering?

EDIT: Game downloading should work now.
EDIT 2: Registering should work now. Make a new account.

Bug fixed. The code will now be sent with the mail. I have activated your accounts manually so you don't need to create another account and login should work then.

EDIT: Turns out I can only upload one of the files, not all three.

So i tried to upload a game, went through step one and filled out all fields.

Went to step 2, added a zip file for each category. Pressed upload. Page paused for a minute, then returned me to the step 1 page.

Did it with only uploading one file, and it worked.

I don't see the game in the games page yet though.

I took a look into the database and I see that the information from step 1 are not set :?: But it worked with my account, maybe some bug removed the information.
Did you upload at least 1 screenshot and clicked "Complete" on step 4? I think you must because the database says the game is "avaible", also information from step 1 are missing strangly :?: :?: I will try to find the bug.

Debug Hint:
After uploading game files (no matter if it brings you to step 1 or somewhere else) view html source and search for "<!-- Upload files ... -->". Tell me every line there beginning with "<!-- " till "<!-- Check {platform}" or "<!-- Move file -->".

Does there appear a red "sign" on site before submitting, or is that told to you after submitting?
But, I took a look into the database and you are registered. Did you redeive an activation mail? Otherwise, I might activate your account manually.

GE-Next: Find Games Made With GE!

Postby asmodeus » Sat Sep 29, 2012 11:16 am

I've continued GE-Games, now with the name GE-Next.net! I've made some changes in my plans:

  • No game uploads or comments: The games are linked to their appropriate threads on this forum
  • Also the screenshots are linked to the file on this forum
  • No user registration - Games are added by an administrator (i.e. myself), but you can ask me to add your game to the database

Because the site doesn't base on user accounts any longer (but on visitors' ip addresses), everybody could rate and tag the games! A special feature is that a tag for a game can be given several times to give that tag more weight!

Maybe you should go to the website and see it for yourself! There are already 16 games added, and more are to come!

If you want your game to be added there (I will add quite every game), just write me a PM with a link to the game thread and the screenshot (view mode), so your game might be added sooner ;)

Please report any bugs you encounter.

Known bugs:
  • none
