xcode 4.2 error

xcode 4.2 error

I got an error building for ios.

libgeapp.a
"file was built for archive which is not the architecture being linked (armv7)"

I'm building for device, not emulator (iphone) and I think that I've followed all the steps suggested to properly configure xcode project.
Architecture is set to armv6 armv7, build active architectures only is set to NO.

Did anybody got this error?.

Sorry, I have not gotten to that step yet with my game, and i will probably run into a billion problems doing it using 4.6.

I believe said ghost version should be the current version of gE 1.4.0. One extremely confusing thing that happened was the lack of updating the version number. So gE 1.4 has had several updates, though you wouldn't know it unless you were paying very close attention. By the looks of it, some of those changes you can see in the 1.4.0 svn logs.

I keep trying to fix my xcode error (it seems that nobody else here uses xcode 4.2).
I will report the howto as soon as it is solved.

Ok, using the geapp_iphone.zip available at game-editor.net downloads section did the trick. Now it builds without errors.
That geapp release seems to be updated and built on december, 2011.

FYI, the .dat file must be exported from ge 1.4.0 windows. The ge for mac exported .dat doesn't work.

I am late to the party but I also use xcode 4. I only get a error when I upload my app to the apple app store but to get around it I use the apploader from xcode 3.
