Export function for Linux version of Game Editor

Postby Exion » Mon Nov 20, 2006 11:26 am

Hi makslane,

I have tested Game Editor for Linux and it seems like a very nice product.

I see a lot of people have asked about export function for the Linux version of Game Editor here. But you did not say anything about if you are planing on doing something about this at all and if, what time frame you have on this feature.

Would it be possible for you to tell us something about this ? It would help me a lot on the decision to go for game-editor or not for my game developments.

Best regards,
Exion

Im curious why not? Is it because there's not much demand? It's harder to make the necessary binaries? It's because of the Linux opensource idea? I happen to have Windows also, so it's not a big deal, I have just heard a few people ask and other than "it's not planned", there has not been any other reason.

"What is Linux?" I've wondered

I always thought Hell would be a giant load screen that goes on for eternity, then one day, eons later, it would end, only to reveal a slightly different loading screen.

Linux is the operating system started in Helsinki university (in my hometown 8) ) and it's flexible to edit. Linux can be downloaded from internet and installed on your computer. So you can have both Windows and Linux. If you want, try it out. :D
