Dear peedalein,

You just need only one resolution the iPhone will set the screen by itself.
For my game I use 480*320 resolution then I play on iPhone 4 it will show as full screen and result is really good also.

If you really need to make 2 screen resolution so you need to make 2 versions as the Symbian mobile game

Dear peedalein,

I am not sure what do you means by it is mandatory to add a disclaimer in the game.
If you means the logo for game-editor when open the app then It should have on it and I didn't see any wrong to have it on the game when open the app.
Moreover I like it, because I proud to use this greatest game engine.

for another question
You can put your lunch image in the game-editor as another screen then use timer to change the screen, so you no need to edit any Xcode for this.

Dear Fojam,

What do you means by compile geapp? to compile your game to app file format or else. PLease be more clear.

Hello Chai,

I have no problem putting the Game Editor logo.

By disclaimer I meant a legal notice that says that I am not responsible and not to be sued if someone attempts to do the things that the player does in the game in real life and gets hurt. Or
somebody thinks that the main actor of the game looks like him/her and therefore hurt his personal feelings or whatever people might come up with....

I am not too familiar with the appstore. If I put the launch image into game editor, use the timer to have it changed, does it apply with their guidelines?

Thanks for your answers!

EDIT:

- Disclaimer can be put in description.
- Launch image is added seperately in xcode.

Chai what i mean is is taking the latest geapp xcode project, putting it into xcode, adding any dat file (doesnt matter which one because im going to replace the dat within the app anyway) and building it for iPhone. Preferably 3.1 or something around there.
After that can you put the .app in a zip and upload it here? It would be much obliged.

peedalein,

You can use GEapp with SDK and Xcode on mac to built APP file.
I didn't try SDK 4.2 yet but it should be fine for the new version of SDK.

You can check game list on the app store via this http://game-editor.com/App_Store_Games

Hi,

Help, I'm trying to compile the GeApp using Xcode 4.2 and IOS5.

Got this error:

Undefined symbols for architecture armv7;
"_main", referenced from:
start in crt1.3.1.o

I'm sure my Xcode is running fine as it can compile my other Cocos2D projects.
Can anyone enlighten or guide me?

Thanks.

I have a mac and GE on it. I created my game and renamed it geplayer.dat there was no way to put it on the device.
Went on my PC, did the same thing, worked first time.
Any reason why?

What do you mean put on the device? Are you using geplayer? If so you can use ftp via command line, or if you prefer download something like filezilla and transfer it that way.
