We are getting off-topic here. Let's save the subject "ugly fonts" for http://game-editor.net/index.php/chatroom.

I think is a very good idea! I like the "GE-Next" name too :-)

What about the posts with the message "Posted my makslane"? Are those games by the users who started the thread? I remember those games being on the old Game Editor homepage...

Yes, what about them? An answer would be nice, but it's not important.

When the site was created, the games where posted in static pages, not as forum threads.
When I switch to the dynamic model, I move the games to forum threads.
Unfortunately, the original users were not here anymore, and I did the post, but putting the "Posted my makslane" message

Can I get the names of the persons who created those games, or are they included with the source? Then I could put the games with the persons' real names, instead having "unknown" or something.

Okay, thanks.

I'm currently redesigning the layout and the engine, hence there are currently less game registrations.

Game Requests

Postby asmodeus » Mon Oct 08, 2012 7:28 pm

It's much, much work adding all the games available in the forums :/
I already added most of the games from the Game Demos forum, and already some from the Game Development forum. It's hard to find out whether it's a game or example, finished game, game still working in progress or maybe cancelled...

So I wish you giving me a list of games and examples I should add!
But don't only give me the posts. Please give me the information about a game the following way:
----------------------------------
  • {game title, linked with the game thread} (game/example/tool*, finished/wip/cancelled/unknown) - description
  • {another game title, linked with the game thread} (game/example/tool*, finished/wip/cancelled/unknown) - description
  • ...
----------------------------------
*the category "tool" (non-game application) isn't yet added to the system, but I might add it...

Note that it's sometimes difficult to find out whether a game is still working in progress or cancelled. I think, if it is unknown, I will mark those games just as "wip".

Thank you all in advance! :)

If it's made in PHP I can help you if you want(upgrading the website).

Hm, actually I don't need any help with PHP. But maybe you could do designs (HTML/CSS, JavaScript)?
