Update #1:
    Mario now will slide instead of stop instantly. Updates will not be applied untill official release unless I feel like placing an update
Update #2
Absolutely no animation bugs anymore, all have been fixed :) as I've said in update #1, no updates will be available for download just yet :3

Hi guys! I need a few testers for this movement system and I want to make sure there's no bugs in it :D I already know about the cliff bug ;) Where your running up the slope and you can hold jump to make a zillion sounds :D Also there is a sound bug, the sound plays 2 times sometimes when you jump This Is insanely hard for me to fix xD

controls:
KEYBOARD:
A, S, D, W is move
K to jump
J to run

Microsoft Compatable Gamepad(Xbox style controls)
A=Jump
Left Stick = movement
X = run

The ZIP is small because the GED is also tiny xD

Most of the code is in mario's draw actor, feel free to look around

If a and d are pressed at the same time there is glitch..
But I think you've already solved it but haven't updated here, right?

And the music volume is too little compared to the sound effect volume.. :P

Anyway, nice work! :)

Look this, speedrun video! xD

change the "MIDI sound" output in your volume mixer (double click on speaker).... though I'm not sure if this is in Vista/7, which is pretty annoying S:
