Talk about making games.

Help wanted with collision.

Hi, I am building this Race Car game and it’s near completion, but I can’t figure out the collsion between cars.
When I use Physical Responce, cars get knocked of the playing field.

What I would like is:
that the Opponent cars stay on the track at all times.
The player can be knocked of the track but not to extreme.
Cars should not drive through each other.
It doesn’t have to be Physical Responce

I hope there is someone that can solve these issues. Please feel free to alter the program.
Anybody who comes up with a solution that works will be credited for in the game.

Help is very much appreciated.

Hello, we're sorry for not responding, but the forums have been close to completely inactive lately.
Have you solved this issue already?
If not or you have any further questions you are welcome to our discord channel.

Thanks for responding, What do you mean by the forum is closed? People are still able to upload, download, read and reply, that is not closed, I think. About Discord, I have been there but I find it not very easy to use. I can't seem to find a way to upload games there. So for me this forum is the only way to share my games.

The issue with the car race game is not solved, but even with this issue it's a nice game to play. Maybe I will upload it in the near future.
I'm working on some other games but have to fine tune them before uploading,
The following games will be uploaded in the next couple of weeks:
Slot machine
Memory (Card Game)
Sjoelen (Shuffle Board)

Ok, I am glad it's not closed. This is for me the only way to share my creations. I think most people just want apps. Programming is not for everyone i guess.

It is definitely not for everyone. Good thing is gE allows one to create games with minimum programming knowledge.
Sadly this standard applies to the years prior to 2007 as per the current version of gE.

Discord is just a chat service, so it's not really the best place to upload games that you make, but it is the best place to get help with questions you might have, as Bat mentioned.

If you have any questions about Discord and how to use it, I'd be happy to help you out over in the Discord verification thread or on Discord itself.
