Pino's Tower (early 80s platform game)

Postby bsi » Thu Jan 05, 2012 4:26 pm

This is a game I realized with Game Editor.

Pino's Tower is a 80s style platformer where the player has to collect all the fruits present in the level to access the next level. By jumping from platform to platform the player must collect the five fruits in a level while avoiding different type of enemies. The contact of the player with one enemy results in death and the loss of one of the five lives.

Another completed game? Game Editor must be getting popular! =D

You've defiantly hit that early 80s Arcade feel with this game. I like how the jumping mechanics are a lot like the classic DK & Catlevania, and how classical the music & sprites are.
Though i must really suck at this game because I kept dying on the 2nd level, maybe the platforms could've been smaller, though i know you were going for that classic frustration beats level thingy.

Good job! +1 =)

Hope to see more games!

Nice game, I agree with Mr. Leonardo, I must be terrible at this game, I did make it to level 3 eventually. But despite me not being very good at it, I do like the interesting jumping mechanics. It does add a bit of a twist and challenge. The retro feel is definitely there. +1 great job!

Hello I am new here and I am just looking at some examples games made with game-editor

I like your game and I hope that I will be able to make something with similar mechanics but with some extra stuff. Great work!
